Ferio is the modern leave management platform for European teams. Automatic PTO calculations, country-specific rules, approvals, and team calendars — so HR stops chasing spreadsheets and people actually get their holiday.
Ferio automates the parts of leave management that go wrong in a spreadsheet — accrual math, prorated hires, bank-holiday differences across offices, and the never-ending approval back-and-forth.
Nine ready-made country profiles preload public holidays, accrual rules, age/child supplements and part-time math. Mix nationalities in one team — each person gets the calendar and calculation their country requires.
The additive quota engine handles base days, legal minimums, age and child supplements, tenure, proration for mid-year hires and carryover — with a clear breakdown employees actually understand.
One-step approvals by default, multi-step chains when you need them. Auto-approve exec roles, pick delegates, and cover sudden sick days without the Slack scavenger hunt.
See who's out at a glance — per-person holidays respect each person's country. Approved leave syncs to Google Calendar in real time and iCal for everything else.
Legal-minimum guardrails block under-allocation. Audit trails record every retro entry, with mandatory justification. Your tenant is isolated — no cross-company data, ever.
A 9-step wizard walks HR through company basics, country profiles, holidays, leave types, roles, user import (CSV/Excel), working time types, and quotas — then validates it all before go-live.
Per-person, per-team, and per-country reports. Export CSV or PDF for payroll hand-offs.
In Roman Latin, a feria was a holiday: a day set aside from ordinary work. The plural feriae covered religious holidays, public festivals, and stretches of rest that were sacred and protected by law.
We chose Ferio because the idea at the heart of this product is older than any labour code: people need time away, and that time should be honoured cleanly — not negotiated over email threads. The name is short, European, and it scans the same way across every language we serve.
ALSO · in the Western church calendar, weekdays are still called feria secunda, feria tertia, and so on. Weekdays as "little holidays" — we liked that, too.
Every Ferio plan includes every feature — country profiles, approvals, integrations, audit logs, reports. Plans differ by the number of seats in your tenant.
Tell us a bit about your company and we'll set up a tenant, a wizard link for your founding admin, and a quote within one business day.
