Sync public holidays
Add your country's holidays to your synced calendar.
On top of your own leave, Ferio can add your country's public holidays to whichever calendar you have connected. It is a single toggle, and it uses the holidays your workspace already keeps per country profile, so the dates match the ones Ferio counts when it works out your leave.
Turn it on
Open your Profile and go to the Calendar tab. Flip the Sync public holidays toggle on. The setting is shared across your connections, so it applies to both Google Calendar and your iCal feed at once; you do not set it separately for each.
What happens next
If you have Google Calendar connected, turning the toggle on pushes this year's holidays into your selected calendar right away, with the same progress indicator you see for a leave backfill. On your iCal feed the holidays simply start appearing on the next refresh. Holidays come from your own country profile, so you get the set that applies to you.
Turn the toggle off and Ferio removes the holiday events it added from your Google calendar, and drops them from the iCal feed. Your leave events are untouched either way.
Ferio only syncs holidays it has on record for your country profile. If a holiday is missing, an admin adds it under the country profile. See Public holidays.
